Not Into Sex Games?

Sex games are all the rage at the moment. Couples, fuck buddies, friends with benefits…you name it everyone is trying a different game every day. You read about them all the time on the web and most lads and women’s magazines – Cosmopolitan even published a piece on ’13 Sex Games You Need To Try’ recently.

But what if you happen to be one of those people who aren’t that into sex games?

Just the sex Ma’am
Believe it or not, it isn’t that unusual if you prefer just having sex to playing sex games. Whilst it’s true that sex games can add another layer of excitement and titillation to sex, it’s not the be all and end all. Like most things it all comes down to personal taste. Yet we are surrounded by media outlets telling us all that we should be expanding our horizons in the bedroom. Instead of just having sex, we should be tying each other up and swinging from the chandeliers…and that’s not even a metaphor for some couples.

So why is there such intense pressure to have more than just sex?

Business
The media and the sex trade rely on us. And because we often have the attention span of a mosquito, they are forced to constantly change the ways they sell sex to us. Now the good thing about this is that it has opened up a whole avenue of options to people who are genuinely bored of just having sex (how can you ever be bored of having sex?!?). A quick search on the web will reveal a whole host of games and scenarios to suit the strangest of desires.

But for people looking to have just sex…there isn’t much material now. Everything is geared towards ‘ways to spice up your love life’ – hell we’ve posted dozens of pieces on here ourselves about what you can do to add extra zest into your fucking.

Am I abnormal if I don’t want to play sex games?
No. No. No.

You’re just expressing your personal desire to have sex rather then play sex games. If your fuck buddy wants to play sex games and you don’t, sit down and talk to them about it. You can always reach a compromise, but even if you don’t it’s not the end of the world – there are millions of other people out there for you to try.

Should I try playing a sex game even if I don’t want to?
Discuss your concerns with your fuck buddy first and foremost. If you lie and say you’re okay with something you’re not then you’re being unfair to them and you. If you think you can try it, try it! Hell you might enjoy it! But do talk to them first about your concerns.

And if I just want to have sex?
Then just have sex. This is the core reason you’re on this site anyway. Once you get past the bells and whistles we’re here to help you hook up with someone for sex. And if that’s all you want, then that’s absolutely fine and no one should make you feel any less of a person if they expect more.

Happy Fucking!
