Dating, and especially internet dating feels like a game of chess sometimes. Your opponent opens with the Queen’s gambit, you respond with the Knight’s Manoeuvre and eventually that castle comes out of nowhere to mate your King. How the hell did that happen? And why the hell do they give all these chess moves ridiculous names in the first place?

Those answers will have to wait for another time.
