The connection between food and sex has always been there – and is clear even in the way that we talk about it. We might say that we are hungry for sex, or that she looks delicious. We talk about consuming and devouring the other person. Desire is the key driver in sex, and we are never more driven by desire than when it comes to our basic needs. A hungry man cares nothing for fame, wealth or status – he just wants to eat. So when it comes to enhancing desire and pushing the boundaries of how much we “want” someone in sex, it is natural to move towards the same language that we use when talking about the consuming of food. Whilst this is generally a metaphor, we can take this a step further and directly use food in sex in order to make it even more scrumptious!
Desire – it plays a major role
When you are hungry, most food tastes good. When you are starving, ALL food no matter how bland or even bad it is tastes good! The hungry man looks no further than the fact that he has something on his plate. So it comes to how much you “want” it. With sex the same is true. If someone really wants sex, they will enjoy it more. If they are desperate for it, they will like it even if it is bad!!
Restriction isn’t the key. If you don’t have sex for a year or more, your libido actually goes down, so it is not about having no sex for a long period of time. The trick is to not have it for a short period of time, then have things which bring the mind to be focussed on it whilst having a barrier to getting it. Obvious things that people do include things like go to see a show, cinema, gig or go for dinner. The dinner is what we will now talk about.
Using Dinner to prep for sex
So you take them for dinner. You are flirting over food, a bit of touching, a bit of light body contact. You both know where this is going, anticipation builds over the length of the evening. This is the time to now kick it up a notch by using the right foods to increase that desire.
Oysters – this is a classic and people always go on about it. They are expensive however an overrated. So let’s go to some more interesting options. Here are my top 3:
- Avocados – they are high in unsaturated fats and they help keep the blood flowing to all the right places. This should help you to get to the place you want to be.
- Almonds – which are rich in minerals, including zinc which helps to enhance the libido
- Strawberries – so this is visual as well as physical! Men find women more attractive when they are wearing red according to several studies. So watching a woman eat a red fruit such a strawberry will have a very good effect on your libido! It also has vitamin B which has sperm boosting properties.
So get in there and start using food to facilitate whatever fetishes you have! (and yes I did just finish with that line because it has a triple “f” in the sentence).
